We are currently in need of a candidate for Industrial Door Service Technician to join our team in Newport News, VA. We offer competitive pay and benefits. Key Responsibilities:
Use industry standards to complete regular safety evaluations.
Maintain, modify, service, repair, and upgrade customer installations.
Observe and learn from experienced staff members.
Develop knowledge of company policies, protocols, and processes.
Troubleshoot challenges as they arise.
Work closely with sales and customer service departments.
Achieve metrics set by the company.
Keep company equipment in good working condition.
Any additional duties assigned by company supervisor.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Ability to follow instructions given both verbally and in written form.
Strong aptitude working with electronics, mechanics, and hydraulics.
Willing to learn and work to the best of his/her abilities and have a dependable work ethic.
Skilled at understanding blueprints, as well as electrical components and schematics.
Enjoys changing work environments.
Flexible, reliable, responsible, and approachable.
Willing to work 40+ hours a week.


Work Environment:
Comfortable at heights up to 100 feet while wearing safety harness and boom lift.
Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Background check required.
