Job Description

Craft and Technical Solutions is an established Marine and Industrial Staffing Company with offices all over the country. We partner with businesses as well as jobseekers to place individuals into positions efficiently. Currently, we are reviewing resumes for Pipefitters in Pascagoula, MS.
 
**$38/hr +137.50 daily per diem**
 
Responsibilities:
  • Installing and repairing piping systems onboard ships and submarines
  • Conduct periodic spot checks for quality assurance on finished products.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and configuration of piping systems.
  • Assemble, fabricate, install, test ship piping systems, and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment, according to specifications, by welding, brazing, cementing, soldering, and threading joints.
  • Comfortable working with various materials, such as steel, copper, copper-nickel, and stainless. 
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using various tools and equipment such as pipe cutters, threading machines, and pipe benders.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as welders, plumbers, and HVAC technicians to complete projects on time and within budget.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in pipefitting techniques and materials.
Requirements:
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of marine or industrial pipefitting experience.
  • Need to be able to work with different piping systems.
  • Basic math, reading, and comprehension skills. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to read blueprints.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on your own.
  • Must pass 10-Panel drug screen.
