Craft and Technical Solutions is an established Marine and Industrial Staffing Company with offices all over the country. We partner with businesses as well as jobseekers to place individuals into positions efficiently. We are currently in need of C12 Sprayers to join our team in Norfolk, VA.  
Job Description:
  • 5 years of experience in the maritime industry. 
  • Operate and maintain sprayer equipment specifically designed for maritime applications, ensuring proper functionality and performance. 
  • Conduct routine inspections, troubleshoot issues, and perform maintenance as necessary. 
  • Apply coatings and treatments to ship hulls, underwater surfaces, and marine structures using a sprayer, ensuring even coverage and adhering to manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements. 
  • Prepare surfaces for coating application by cleaning, sanding, blasting, or other methods as required to remove contaminants, rust, or old coatings. 
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations related to maritime operations, including confined space entry, use of PPE, and hazardous material handling. 
  • Implement measures to minimize environmental impact during coating application, such as containment barriers, spill prevention measures, and proper waste disposal practices. 
  • Maintain accurate records of coating applications, including product usage, surface preparation procedures, environmental conditions, and any deviations from standard protocols
Job Requirements:
  • DBIDS eligibility required. 
  • Must possess a C12 certification.  
  • Demonstrated experience operating sprayer equipment in a maritime setting. 
  • Knowledge of marine coatings, surface preparation techniques, and coating application methods. 
  • Familiarity with maritime safety regulations, including confined space entry, hazardous material handling, and environmental protection requirements. 
  • Ability to work effectively in all weather conditions. 
  • Effective communication skills are essential.
  • 10-Panel drug screen required.
