Pay Rates:
- 1st class SF $38.00/hr + $137.52 per diem
- 2nd class SF $24.81/hr + $48 per diem
- 3rd class SF $23.68/hr + $48 per diem
- Shift Differential $1/hr
Ship Fitter Job Description:
- Layout, fit-up and fabrication of steel plate and beam.
- Use of trade specific tools such as: hand torch, hydraulic and ratchet jacks, levels, grinders, squares, meh ic and standard tape measures and plumb equipment.
- Flux core and Stick tacking
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 3 Yrs. Trade experience
- Basic math, reading and comprehension skills
- Read and interpret blueprints utilizing both meh ic and standard measurements
- Knowledge of th e layout, fit-up and fabrication of steel plate and beam.
- Experience with various h ade specific tool s such as: hand torch, hydraulic and ratchet jacks, levels, grinders, squares, meh ic and standard tape measures and plumb equipment.
