Pay Rates:
- 1st class SW $28.89/hr + $48 non-local (daily RER)
- 2nd class SW $25.51/hr + $48 non-local (daily RER)
- 3rd class SW $23.68/hr + $48 non-local (daily RER)
- Shift Differential $1/hr
Structural Welder Job Description:
- Use of welding process flux core: FCAW
- Use of welding process stick welding: SMAW
- Use of welding positions vertical (3G), horizontal (2G) and overhead (4G)
- Exposure to heights, confined spaces
Job Requirements:
- Must pass welding assessment: Fluxcore vertical test, open butt weld on plate with metal backing strap in positions 2G, 3G, 4G
- Basic math, reading and comprehension skills
- Read and interpret blueprints utilizing both meh ic and standard measurements
- Flux core and Stick welding
